This policy sets out how our software products may and may not be used. It applies to every Jopex application and service, and it forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Using any of our products means you accept it.

1. Using our products responsibly

Our software is provided for lawful, legitimate purposes consistent with what each product is built to do. Use it in keeping with your role and the permissions you have been given, enter only information that is accurate and that you are authorised to enter, and observe Tanzanian law, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 and the Cybercrimes Act, 2015.

2. What is not allowed

You must not access, or try to access, any account, data, or system you are not authorised to use, including the data of another organisation or user. You must not upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise harmful, or that infringes another person's rights, and you must not use our products to harass, defraud, or harm anyone.

You must not submit personal data about other people without the authority or consent to do so. You must not introduce malware or harmful code, or attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent the security of any product. You must not impersonate any person or misrepresent your connection to an organisation or to Jopex, send spam, or misuse any safety or emergency feature, for instance by raising a false emergency request. Reselling or commercially exploiting a product without our written permission is not permitted.

3. Responsibility and enforcement

You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the right to submit it. Organisations and businesses are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the records they keep within a product.

We do not routinely monitor content, but we may review activity where it is necessary to operate, secure, and protect our products or to comply with the law. Where this policy is broken, we may warn you, remove or restrict content, suspend or close accounts, and report unlawful conduct to the authorities.
